12/28/2001 - Porterfield Brake Pads - By: Robert Leidy
After 60,000 miles on the stock brake pads I assumed I was getting close to needing to change them. I've been pleased with the performance of the stock BMW brake pads, but the brake dust was always a mess. I wanted to find some replacement pads that offered equal performance but without all the brake dust mess.

HMS improved the BMW window blanket by adding a bulky area to middle of the blanket which makes the window fold in a more rounded way in order to keep the window from creasing.

05/23/1999 - Paint Chip Fixing Day at Rory's House - By: Robert Leidy
I made a comment to Rory that we should have a non-driving Z3 get together, maybe a Z3 fix-it day or something. One thing led to another and eventually we came up with a paint chip fixing day. We contacted a paint touch-up guy that Moritz BMW recommended, and a company that sells and installs invisible bras.

10/26/1998 - Meguiar's #18 Cleaner/Polish - By: Carter Lee
Cleaning and restoring the rear plastic window back to near/new condition

10/13/1998 - Tonneau Cover - By: Robert Leidy
Finally a tonneau cover for the BMW roadster. I'll always refer to it as my "Carter Cover", but whatever you want to call it - it's a winner.

08/29/1998 - Cleaning the Plastic Rear Window - By: Robert Leidy
With the homecoming approaching I figured it was time to clean the rear plastic window. Let see just how good this Meguiar's window cleaner and polish stuff is.

05/16/1998 - Tender Lovin' Car Care - By: Carter Lee
Procedures on pampering your Z3 roadster with the care it deserves.

04/04/1998 - Black Cars, Never Again - By: Robert Leidy
Moritz BMW loaned me a black BMW roadster for a week. It is my opinion that the black Z3s have a real problem with paint chipping, on top of that they are hard to keep clean.
